Born in Massachusetts Bo Burnham was raised in an environment that allowed him to express himself.  He would perform skits, or "Bo Shows," at the age of three and grew up listening to the likes of George Carlin and Richard Pryor.

By the time he had reached high school, he was actively involved in the school's theatre program, and no one was surprised that he wanted to make a name for himself.  It was in 2006 that he began writing songs about teenage angst and began debuting them to his fellow drama clubbers.

This is also when he decided to video tape his efforts and post them on You Tube so his older brother could watch them from college.  Before long, the videos he made became viewed by more and more people, and eventually he became an internet celebrity!

In 2008, Bo received a call from an agent who'd seen some of his work on You Tube, exclaiming "He's definitely the youngest comedian I've worked with - he was getting ready for his SATs when I called - but the quality of his writing is amazing!"  The agent would convince Bo to pursue a career in comedy, and in January of 2008, Bo would appear on a special for Comedy Central, "The World Stands up" which aired the following June.

Shortly thereafter, he signed with Comedy Central Records, and his first studio album "Bo Burnham" was released in 2009.  He would follow up with his second album "Words Words Words" in 2010.  You're in for one crazy night with Bo Burnham tickets!
