Craig Ferguson Tickets

From musician to comedian to television star, Craig Ferguson is a triple threat in the entertainment business. He may hail from Scotland, but he is truly an American star.

The History of Craig Ferguson Tickets

Born on May 17, 1962 in Glasgow, Scotland, Craig Ferguson was raised in Cumbernauld and later moved to New York City, where he worked in construction in Harlem.

Before moving to the U.S., however, Craig Ferguson spent much of his teenage years as a drummer in a rock band called Exposure, meaning the first Craig Ferguson tickets sold were for music, not comedy! He then went on to join a punk band named The Bastards from Hell (which was later renamed Dreamboys); they regularly performed in Glasgow from 1980 to 1982. It was Peter Capaldi, the group's vocalist, who inspired Ferguson to give comedy a try.

His comedy skit, which premiered in Glasgow, was a hit, and he soon saw himself enjoying quite a bit of notoriety, selling plenty of Craig Ferguson tickets and even performing at the 1986 Edinburgh Festival Fringe. He also made a recording at Glasgow's Tron Theatre, which was released around the same time.

His television debut came when he was asked to make a one-off comedy pilot for Granada Television, known as The Craig Ferguson Show. Although it was broadcast in the UK in 1990, it never became a full series.

Ferguson also went on to explore musical theater, and by 1991, he appeared in London's production of The Rocky Horror Show and The Odd Couple, among others.

Craig Ferguson moved to Los Angeles in 1994 and took a few television roles. It wasn't until he took the role of the title character's boss, Mr. Wick, on The Drew Carey Show that he gained a considerable amount of attention in the U.S. During this time, Craig Ferguson also began writing scripts for movies, many of which he starred in.

January 2005 brought the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson to CBS, and it was an instant success. By 2007, the show was averting 2.0 million viewers, and by 2008, it had beat out Late Night with Conan O'Brien for weekly ratings.

Craig Ferguson holds a dual citizenship, as he is both a naturalized citizen of the U.S. and a citizen of the United Kingdom.

Craig Ferguson Tickets: What to Expect

He first became one of Scotland's most beloved comedians, and he took off to the U.S. to accomplish the same thing. From film audiences to the fans of late night television, Craig Ferguson tickets open a night to a multi-talented actor and comedian who uses his thick, Scottish accent to woo his audience and critics alike.

Craig Ferguson Ticket: Who Should Attend?

Ben Alba, an American television historian, perhaps said it best when he said that Craig Ferguson "has already made his mark, taking the TV monologue to new levels with an underlying story. But he is only just starting...He is making up his own rules: It's the immigrant experience."
