The History of David Cassidy Tickets

David Cassidy was born on April 12, 1950, in New York City. As parents of actors, he was raised primarily by his maternal grandparents in New Jersey. At the age of six, he found out from neighborhood children that his parents had been divorced for two years but never told him. By 1956, his father remarried Shirley Jones.

In 1969, David Cassidy appeared in the Broadway musical, The Fig Leaves are Falling. A casting director caught sight of him and he quickly made the move to Los Angeles. He signed with Universal Studios in 1969 and appeared on a number of television shows. In wasn't until 1970, however, that he got his biggest break: the role of Keith Partridge, the son of Shirley Partridge (a.k.a. Shirley Jones).

David Cassidy soon became the hit and heartthrob of the show and was the lead singer for the show's recordings. Soon after, he recorded "I Think I Love You," which became an instant hit. Within a few years, he went on tour selling David Cassidy tickets, singing both The Partridge Family songs and his own songs.

The Partridge Family released ten albums, and David Cassidy sold five solo albums during the length of the show, along with plenty of David Cassidy tickets. Cassidy performed to sold-out concerts in major arenas around the world and the mass hysteria that ensued was known as Cassidymania. In fact, he sold out to two sellout crowds in Houston's Astrodome in one weekend in 1972.

Cassidy, over the next, few years, quit touring and acting and instead took up songwriting and recording. He continued to achieve international success and released three solo albums between 1975 and 1977. His music career continued well into the 1980s and, by 1990, his music returned to American Top 40.

David Cassidy tickets then opened another realm of performance.  He went on to take over the musical theater scene and performed on Broadway and on television.
