Gloria Estefan Tickets

Gloria Estefan first burst onto the scene with the hugely success group, Miami Sound Machine, but it is her traditional Latin music and soulful dance rhythms that have sustained her career, selling millions of Gloria Estefan tickets and making her an icon in the music industry.

The History of Gloria Estefan Tickets

Gloria Estefan was born on September 1, 1957, in Havana, Cuba, as Gloria Maria Fajardo. Her family fled Cuba in 1959 and moved to Miami. Her father returned from war in 1968 and soon developed multiple sclerosis. Estefan quickly took over caring for her disabled father, and she often said she "found solace from the burdens in singing."

She would often sing along with the popular music of the time, including the Beatles and Gerry and the Pacemakers. She met her husband, Emilio Estefan, in 1975. She later offered to sing with Estefan's local group for free and, within a year, she was singing full-time with the band, which was then known as the Miami Latin Boys.

Gloria also enrolled in the University of Miami as a psychology major. Emilio and Gloria wed in September 1978 after Gloria graduated from college. The group, which had at that point been renamed the Miami Sound Machine, was quite popular at that time, and Gloria honed her singing abilities and became the band's percussionist, as well. They recorded their debut album with a small, Miami-based label, but it soon became a sensation.

By 1980, the band had honed their sound, which has Cuban rhythms with punches of pop sound, and subsequently, they landed a record deal with the Hispanic division of CBS Records. After four successful records, the band convinced CBS Records to put out an English album, and they soon began topping the pop charts and the European charts.

The group went on to sell millions of albums and tour worldwide until Estefan suffered a serious car accident in 1990. However, she recovered after just six months and began touring once again, much to the delight of Gloria Estefan tickets holders. She continues to release music as a solo artist, sell Gloria Estefan tickets, and has experienced great success in recent years.
