Joe Satriani Tickets

Rising from the ranks of a little-known guitarist to one who has achieved the ultimate success in the music world, Joe Satriani has managed to hone his skills and become one of the great guitarists in modern rock history.

The History of Joe Satriani Tickets

Born in Westbury, New York, on July 15, 1946, Joe Satriani took up playing the guitar at the age of 14 and took the music of famed guitarist Jimi Hendrix as his inspiration. He quickly taught himself the guitar and even began teaching others the craft. By the late 1970s, Satriani moved to Berkeley, California, and set his sights on a music career. He soon landed a gig playing with Greg Kihn, and in 1984, Satriani released his solo, self-titled EP.

Joe Satriani, however, didn't really make it big until he landed the gig as guitarist for David Lee Roth's solo band in 1986. The exposure Satriani received led to quite a bit of interest in the industry. It wasn't until he released his second album, Surfing with the Alien, in 1987, that his stardom really began to take off. The album went gold, and Satriani was now being recognized as a top guitarist in the industry.

Joe Satriani tickets were a hot commodity as he accompanied Mick Jagger on a tour of Australia and Japan. He released a stopgap EP, Dreaming #11, in which was a mixture of both studio and live tracks a year later. His third studio album, Flying a Blue Dream, was also an instant success, thereby catapulting sales of Joe Satriani tickets to a new level.

Satriani released his next solo effort in 1992 entitled The Extremist and, a double-disc set, Time Machine, was released just a year later. Two more albums in the 1990s followed, and he landed a gig in the G3 guitar showcase tour in 1996 (which later became an annual event). It was then that Joe Satriani tickets became a hot commodity, and Joe Satriani tickets sold quickly for all his live events.

He released a number of albums from 2002 to 2006, and in 2009, he joined on with Sammy Hagar's newest super-band, Chickenfoot. He also lent his guitar pyrotechnics abilities when he worked with Black Swans and Wormhole Wizards a year later.

Joe Satriani Tickets: What to Expect

Joe Satriani has been able to maintain a solid career and sell many Joe Satriani tickets for just one reason: he has mastered the artistry of the guitar; perhaps more than anyone in his generation. His sound has been deeply influenced by such guitar legends as Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Ritchie Blackmore and Jeff Beck, but his style is undoubtedly all his own.

Joe Satriani Tickets: Who Should Attend?

Joe Satriani, aside from teaching some of today's best rock guitar players, is one of the most "technically accomplished and widely respected guitarists to emerge in recent times."  His fans could not agree more!
