Singer-songwriter Jason Wade was front man to the group "Blyss" during the post grunge days in and around Seattle when he decided for a change of scenery.  Moving to Los Angeles, the band also changed its name to Lifehouse and began finding its new identity and honing its new original sound.

After years of the club scene in L.A., the band recorded its first album "No Name Face" in 2000, which featured the single "Hanging By a Moment."  This would prove to be a juggernaut, as it became the most played song on the radio in 2001 and was only the third song in chart history to be named the number one song of the year on the Billboard Hot 100 without having reached number one on any weekly hot 100 survey.  This album also featured the single "Everything," which was featured on episodes of the television series Smallville.

Lifehouse built on this early success and set off on tour, gaining legions of fans.  In 2005, they would produce their second album "Lifehouse" featuring another smash hit "You and Me," which would stay in the Billboard Top 100 for an astounding 62 weeks!  In 2007, they produced their fourth album "Who We Are" which became certified gold in October of 2008!
