Martina McBride Tickets

Classic country music is the sound of Martina McBride, and it is a sound that has provided her with a considerable amount of critical and commercial success throughout her long and prosperous career.

The History of Martina McBride Tickets

Born Martina Schiff in Medicine Lodge, Kansas, in 1966, Martina McBride began her music career early.  At the age of eight,he began performing on stage with the Shiffters, a country band formed by her father. She performed with this band until she graduated from high school. Although she was a good student and was offered a scholarship, she only attended one year and left to achieve her musical aspirations.

McBride soon began performing with the band, the Penetrators, in Wichita; it was there she met studio engineer, John McBride, in 1987. The two married in 1988 and soon moved to Nashville to pursue Martina's career in country music.

After working for Garth Brooks for a while, Martina soon got her break when Brooks offered her the opening act for his show if she could secure a recording contract. Martina did just that and secured a recording contract with RCA Nashville Records in 1991.

Martina McBride released her debut album in 1992, and she soon found success through a number of popular albums and sold many Martina McBride tickets throughout much of the 1990s. In 1999, Martina McBride won the Country Music Association Award for "Female Vocalist of the Year." She also performed for Bill Clinton the same year.

Her fifth studio album, Emotion, was released in 1999 and its first single, "I Love You," reached number-one on the Billboard country charts. After many successful singles and Martina McBride tickets sold, she released her Greatest Hits album; it was certified three-times Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.

After a number of successful tours and sold Martina McBride tickets, she won the CMA's Female Vocalist of the Year for the fourth time (the others were in 1999, 2002 and 2003).

Martina McBride left RCA and signed with Republic Nashville in 2010 and started on her next studio effort.

Martina McBride Tickets: What to Expect

Martina McBride, although she has experienced success as a crossover artist, is about as traditional as you can get when it comes to country music. Her songs are soulful and thoughtful, and she always makes a point of singing about strong, self-assertive women who look ahead to the future.

Martina McBride Tickets: Who Should Attend?

McBride once said: "There's a perception that you just show up, put on your makeup, don't worry your pretty little head about the business, and sing. But that's changing, I think. People like Reba, Barbra Streisand, and Madonna, who are in control of their own careers and their destinies, have been big influences on me."  This strong artist has sold many Martina McBride tickets and has become a force to be reckoned with in the country music industry because she has never accepted a submissive role during her career. Instead, she has remained focused and determined to make her mark on the music industry.
