Hailing from Ireland, is it any wonder that The Script admit they've been influenced by the likes of U2 and Van Morrison?  Lead singer Danny O'Donoghue met Mark Sheehan at a club in Dublin and shared their passion for music and watching MTV.  Before long, they would form a band known as "Mytown," which would play in and around the UK and Ireland, and eventually the duo would be recognized among the music scene as a very talented singing and songwriting team!  They would contribute over the years to various artists until finally in 2007, they met drummer Glen Power, and the magic began. 

By 2008, after television appearances and releasing a couple of their singles, the band released their debut studio album titled "The Script," which would ultimately reach five times platinum level in Ireland.  Touring extensively and selling hoards of The Script tickets, the band would produce its second album "Science and Faith" in 2010, which would reach #3 on the U.S. Billboard Top 200!
