Chicago Bulls Tickets

As one of the marquee franchises in the NBA, the Chicago Bulls are one of the most popular teams in the league. From its storied history and the legends that have graced its team, Chicago Bulls tickets have been widely sought after for many years.

Chicago Bulls Tickets: Franchise Overview

Prior to the Bulls, there were several other NBA franchises in the nation's third-largest market. The Chicago Stags competed in the NBA's first season (1949-50) before being disbanded. In 1961-62 and 1962-63, the franchise that is currently known as the Washington Wizards began in Chicago before moving to the Baltimore/Washington D.C. region.

In 1966-67, the NBA awarded a new franchise to Chicago. Despite being an expansion team, the Chicago Bulls enjoyed some early success. In its first nine years, the Bulls missed the playoffs just once.

In the mid-eighties, the arrival of superstar guard Michael Jordan would elevate the team to an elite status. Chicago made 14 consecutive postseason appearances from 1984-85 to 1997-98.

Championship Seasons

After Jordan lifted the Bulls into a championship contender to close out the eighties, Chicago was ready to take the next step in the nineties. With some help from head coach Phil Jackson and forward Scottie Pippen, the Bulls reached the NBA Finals for the first time in 1991.  After losing the first game of the series against the Los Angeles Lakers, Chicago won four straight contests to capture an NBA title.

The Bulls also won championships in the following two years before Jordan went through a brief retirement. His return enabled Chicago to string together three more titles from 1995-96 to 1997-98. The Bulls run in the nineties has only been topped by the Boston Celtics of the sixties in the history of the league.

Home Arena

Since the 1994-95 season, the Bulls have played at the United Center (capacity of 20,917). In terms of physical size, the arena is the largest in the United States. The arena is also the home site for the Chicago Blackhawks of the NHL. With plenty of seating options, Chicago Bulls tickets offer a wide range of choices for NBA fans.

Chicago Bulls Tickets: Current Season

Guard Derrick Rose and forward Carlos Boozer could be ready to lead Chicago to a deep postseason run this season.

In the 2010-11 campaign, the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat will be among the top Eastern Conference squads that will take on the Bulls in Chicago. Also, Chicago Bulls tickets can be acquired for home outings against the Orlando Magic, Los Angeles Lakers and other elite NBA teams.
