Lead singer Greg Graffin and his distinct vocal sound formed a group in 1979 with his high school friends who were all fans of such bands as The Ramones, The Germs, and The Sex Pistols, and their resulting music was pure punk rock!  They would play in and around Los Angeles and in 1982 would record their first album "How Could Hell be Any Worse?" 

Bad Religion would garner a large following with their patented three part vocal harmonies and their and intellectual and often political lyrics.  In 1983, they would release their second studio album titled "Into the Unknown" and began to tour extensively.  By 1990, the band would have released their fifth studio album, and despite several personnel changes, remained one of the most critical punk bands of that era!

For the next decade, Bad Religion would release six more studio albums, including "Stranger Than Fiction," which would be their first one to reach gold status.  These guys keep on rockin, as their most recent album was released in 2010, making Bad Religion tickets still a coveted commodity.
