The History of John Fogerty Tickets

John Fogerty was born on May 28, 1945, and he began his music aspirations with his brother, Tom, when they joined Doug Clifford and Stu Cook to form the band Tommy Fogerty and the Blue Velvets in the 1950s. The band changed their name to the Golliwogs and signed on with the jazz label Fantasy in 1965.

In July 1967, the band changed their name once again to Creedence Clearwater Revival, and they released their debut, self-titled album in 1968. It was then the band had their first hit single, "Susie Q." Other hit singles followed, including "Proud Mary" and "Bayou Country."

John Fogerty began his solo career in 1973, which largely consisted of country and rock-and-roll tunes. Although he continued to make music, it wasn't until 1985 that his solo career really began to take off with the release of the album, Centerfield, which was through Warner Brothers Records. His follow-up album, Eye of the Zombie, was released in 1986.

Creedence Clearwater Revival was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993. In 1997, after several personal troubles and tragedies, including the death of his brother, Tom, John returned to the music industry in 1997 with his album, Blue Moon Swamp, which won the Grammy for best rock album. A successful tour followed; John Fogerty tickets sales were strong, and the tour was greeted with much critical acclaim.

John Fogerty tickets continued to sell as his touring schedule increased. He also toured in the 2004's Vote for Change tour. He released his first country and rock album in three years in 2007, with Revival.

Fogerty kicked off an Australian tour in March 2008 and he also made a performance on April 16, 2009, at Yankee Stadium to perform his hit "Centerfield" from none other than center field! John Fogerty tickets were sold out when, in July 2009, he performed with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl.

In August 2009, Fogerty finally released a sequel to his 1973 solo debut album, The Blue Ridge Rangers, which was aptly entitled The Blue Ridge Rangers Rides Again.
