UNLV Rebels Tickets

With one of college basketball's most dominant runs in its past, the UNLV Rebels are the top sports attraction in Las Vegas. UNLV Rebels tickets enable fans to enjoy one of the most exciting squads in the game.

UNLV Rebels Tickets: Historical Overview

In 1969-70, the UNLV Rebels began play as a division-one basketball program. Four years later, the school hired Jerry Tarkanian as the team's head coach. In 19 years on the sidelines, Tarkanian built the Rebels into a college basketball heavyweight. He won 83% of his games at UNLV while leading his teams to 12 NCAA tournament appearances. On four occasions, Tarkanian guided the Rebels to the Final Four.

More recently, head coach Lon Kruger took UNLV to four NCAA trips in his last five years with the program (2006-07 to 2010-11).

In football, the Rebels have been at the division-one level since 1978. On the gridiron, UNLV has been unable to duplicate the success of the hoops team. The university has appeared in just three bowl games. In the last 16 years, the Rebels have been able to post just one winning season.

Championship Seasons

As a member of the Big West Conference from 1982-83 to 1995-96, the UNLV Rebels owned the league with a run of ten consecutive regular season titles in basketball. For a two-year stretch, UNLV had one of the most dominant periods in the history of college basketball.

In 1989-90, the Rebels hammered Duke in the NCAA title game. In the next season, UNLV was undefeated heading into the Final Four. However, the Blue Devils gained some revenge with an upset over UNLV in the national semi-finals.

UNLV Rebels Tickets at Home facilities

In basketball, the UNLV Rebels play at the Thomas & Mack Center (capacity of 18,776). Over the years, the arena has been the site of a number of marquee boxing matches. UNLV Rebels tickets are a great entertainment option for any hoops fan.

For football action, the Rebels compete at Sam Boyd Stadium (capacity of 36,800). The venue is also the site of the Las Vegas Bowl postseason game.
